You Care for Communities in Nicaragua

CLWRCanadian Lutheran World Relief reports in CLWR News Brief (May/June 2015):

Our generous We Care donors have made it possible to send almost $200,000 worth of quilts, kits and more to Iglesia Luterano Sínodo de Nicaragua. These shipments support the mission centre’s transformative work in some of Nicaragua’s poorest communities.

CLWR’s Patrick Stewart visited a dozen communities in Nicaragua this March, distributing We Care kits and quilts, interacting with teachers, students, parents and healthcare workers and listening to their stories as well as delivering the warm wishes and prayers of the thousands of Canadians who contributed to our most recent shipment. Read his story HERE and see some great photos of the people Patrick met HERE.
