Rev. Bill Woolsey speaks at the Regional Outreach Conference, sponsored by Lutheran Hour Ministries, in Long Beach, California. In Part 2 of his presentation (Part 1 was posted on Go! last week), Pastor Woolsey unpacks how St. Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 9 (“Becoming all things to all people people that I might win some.”) relate to how we share Christ in today’s culture as a “mashed up” church — remixing “ancient with modern” and “pastoral with apostolic.”
Bill Woolsey’s passion for reaching the lost has resulted in two unique ministries. The first is Cross Point Community Church, a multi-site, LCMS church that reaches nearly 2,000 people each weekend in three locations, with a vision for 17 more sites by 2025. The second is FiveTwo, a how-to network for sacramental church leaders, seeking to reach the lost in the U.S. and around the world. FiveTwo desires to facilitate 2000 sacramental starts by 2017, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
