Lutherans Engage the World: Training Servants of the Lord for the Lutheran Church

Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) missionary Rev. Glenn Fluegge surveys the African theological-education efforts he has been involved with for 14 years in the slide show posted below. The LCMS actively supports Lutheran seminaries in Sudan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar and South Africa. Strengthening Lutheran seminaries around the world is one of six mission priorities set by the LCMS. Coming alongside the Lutheran church-body leaders in these countries, the LCMS has provided assistance, including personnel, scholarships and grant dollars.

Lutheran Church-Canada is providing seminary education in Nicaragua, Thailand and Ukraine.
