With a goal of giving as many leaders as possible the opportunity to participate in the national discipleship conversation, Exponential has announced plans for a high-quality webcast free to anyone who registers.
Featuring more than 25 national leaders in 10 main sessions, the webcast will include 10-plus hours of nearly continuous programming, streamed live over three days from Tuesday, April 23, to Thursday, April 25.
“This webcast offers leaders who can’t make it to Orlando, or are leaving a spouse or team members at home a solid solution for encouraging and equipping them through what we believe will be game-changing conversations for the church,” says Exponential leader Todd Wilson. “It’s the second best thing to being on site.”
Collectively, viewers will hear from Francis Chan, Rick Warren, Craig Groeschel, Wayne Cordeiro, Larry Osborne, Alan and Deb Hirsch, Mike Breen, John Burke, Jo Saxton, Chris Hodges, Randy Frazee, Jen Hatmaker, Dave Ferguson, Andy Hawthorne, Ed Stetzer, Robert Coleman, Kim Hammond, Lance Ford, Hugh Halter, Jeff Vanderstelt, Brandon Hatmaker, Caesar Kalinowski and Neil Cole.
Exponential expects the live webcast of the upcoming gathering to draw a global audience of more than 30,000 viewers. Early registrations for the webcast already reflect global diversity as international church leaders from Thailand to South Africa to India have signed up. While the conference is sold out (on-site registration halted yesterday), church leaders can still host the webcast for your launch team, small group leaders, staff and network, as well as encourage small groups to participate.
“This topic is an important one for all of the church; Jesus gave the Great Commission to everyone,” Surratt says. “This webcast can be an important equipping tool to challenge and inspire everyone in the church.”
Missional leader Lance Ford, author of UnLeader and Missional Essentials, comments on the potential impact: “Thinking of the Exponential 2013 webcast, it’s invigorating to consider the impact of tens of thousands of church leaders syncing up hearts and minds around the clear commission of Jesus for us to make disciples while He tends to building His church.”
Missio Director and Tangible Kingdom author Hugh Halter adds, “If God could change the world through men and women who traveled by land and sea just to share the story of Christ with a friend, imagine what can happen when countless thousands of people around the world share the story of Christ through a webcast!”
